Live from New Delhi : Auto Expo 2010 (Mobility for All)
The Auto Expo is India’s flagship Automotive Show, this year’s expo was the 10th edition. A large number of global as well as local launches were planned for the show including the Suzuki Kizashi, Chevrolet Beat, Premier Rio, Toyota Etios etc.
I was there like always (special thanks to Ritwik who got us business passes
(note to self :need to make a press pass)). Here are a few photos from the Expo, hope you enjoy them :
Some New Instrument Panel Designs from the components pavilion :

The Honda Concept CR-Z :

The Honda Jazz :

The Maruti Suzuki Kizashi:

The Toyota Individual Transport Concept :

The 1942 Ford GPA Amphibian:

The 1955 BMW Isetta 300:

The Hyundai Genesis (North America Car of the Year 2009):

The Hyundai I-Mode:

The Shell of the Renault Formula One Car like always :

A small Electric Concept Vehicle from Renault (Twizy):

The Bullet Proof, Bomb Proof and Everything Proof Mercedes S-Guard:

Inside of the Tata Prima World Truck:

Tata’s replacement for the Auto Rickshaw IRIS:

The NSIT Advay –2 Solar Car :

I would have taken more photos but the crowd management was seriously lacking, we caught the Honda and Toyota pavilions early and they were a pleasure to watch. The lady at the Corolla Altis CNG car explained the car very well (looks like she had done her homework
). Anyway, the Auto Expo was a little boring with less cars and more people and with people jumping on everything given to them for free
