Felipe Massa almost dies at Hungary
Felipe Massa just underwent emergency surgery at a Military hospital today to attend to his skull fracture which he suffered as a result of a high speed crash at the Hungarian Grand Prix. Its assumed that the injury (as any skull fracture) was life threatening, but the good news thats coming out of the F1 Paddocks is that Felipe is stable and should recover as time progresses. We also have access to horrifying photos of Felipe Massa having one eye open as he is unconscious in his car and is being taken out, but we have decided not to post those photos as it would be sensationalising the whole thing especially with regards to Felipe
.
But what is freakish is what caused the accident, videos show a small spring flying towards Felipe, the spring goes on to hit him on his helmet and Felipe Massa is knocked unconscious and goes straight into the tyre wall. Below you can see a video of his Freakish accident : Just goes onto show the kind of damage that a small spring can cause at such high speeds.
