Sebastien Buemi confirmed for Scuderia Torro Rosso
Scuderia Torro Rosso have confirmed the signing of Sebastien Buemi as one of the drivers for the 2009 Formula One season. Buemi who till now was a test driver for the Torro Rosso team was often faster than his teammates. He was the test and reserve driver in the 2008 season. And now he has finally gotten his break, he will be starting on the grid for the 2009 F1 season.
He is the first Swiss Driver to take part in Formula One since 1995. Comparisons of this young man with Lewis Hamilton are already on. Both of them had early success in smaller forms of racing before eventually being promoted to the pinnacle of motorsport i.e. formula one.
