Ex-formula one team Super Aguri to auction off its assets !
In the final blow to the Super Aguri formula one team and lay rest to all takeover speculation, Super Aguri has appointed SHM Smith Hodgkinson as auctioneers to auction off their assets. These assets include the transporters of the team and also a formula one car.
The team was earlier shut down by its parent Honda company when takeover talks with a Dubai based company and India’s Spice Energy were put off. Nick Fry is often the guy told to be responsible for this collapse. Super Aguri fans, especially Japanese ones always curse Nick Fry on various online forums and f1 news sites.
The team is looking to be sold as an on-going concern to a company or individual looking to launch a Formula One or other motorsport operation”. So will it be gobbled up by an antique collector or another person who wants to stamp his authority in F1.
Aguri Suzuki however will not be auctioning their website, the message on the site from Aguri Suzuki reads :
We, SUPER AGURI F1 TEAM, had challenged Formula One World Championship for two years and four months with great support from many people since its establishment in 2006.
All of you that have cheered for us are to be a part of our team.
I really appreciate for your passion and enthusiasm that always empowered us.
With our gratitude to all of you, I would like to remain this site as archive for record.
