2008 FIA formula one Canadian Grand Prix is next

The next race is the Canadian Grand Prix which is held at the Gilles Villeneuve circuit since 1982 and is one of the few races in the North American calendar.
You can see the satellite photo of the Gilles Villeneuve circuit above. The circuit is pretty beautiful and built on a manmade island.
The race has been won 7 times by Michael Schumacher and thrice by Nelson Piquet. This year promises to be a thriller again, with Lewis Hamilton having the momentum from the Monaco race, but Ferrari proving to be a better team otherwise. Force India too have a point to prove now, they must show that Monaco wasnt a fluke and they do have the strength to give good finishes.
Just to refresh your memories and make you feel nostalgic, below is the podium photo of the 1998 Canadian Grand Prix. The race was won by Michael Schumacher and Eddie Irvine his teammate at Ferrari was third. Giancarlo Fisichella was second. David Coulthard in his McLaren Mercedes was on pole.
