Australian Grand Prix 2008 : Off to Melbourne

Its time, time for a whole new formula one season, the sheer number of emails in my inbox soliciting contact for various proposals is indication to the fact that the F1 season is about to start. The Australian Grand Prix is this weekend. On a personal note, i wont be able to watch much of the race and comment about it. I have exams on Friday, Saturday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. The exams have been carefully draped around the first F1 race ![]()
Anyway, time for predictions, i am predicting a Lewis Hamilton win, Kimi Raikkonen in second and Felipe Massa in third. Pretty safe choices there i say. But as we know it aint over till the fat lady sings (in this case she hasnt even begun to sing). More will be clear during the qualifying on Saturday, hopefully we will have a season that does justice to the one we had last year and the sheer anticipation people have for this season.
I don’t have lots of expectations from Force India, they will do good to kick Super Aguri’s butt, the enthusiasm in the team is great but hopefully all the cash guzzling in their camp would produce results too.
Meanwhile , Kimi Raikkonen has been meeting funny looking people in Australia (and i dont mean Felipe Massa) ::
