Ego Hurt, Giancarlo Fisichella slams back

After some publications were reporting that Giancarlo Fisichella will be paying around 10 million dollars to secure his seat at Force India formula one team, Fisichella has taken strong offence to the comments. Mocking the suggestion that he would pay for a seat , he said that if he had 10 million dollars, he would sit back home and watch F1 on TV.

“I do not pay to drive, I get paid to drive,”

“I do not bring sponsors to the team, the team brings sponsors to me,”

“If I had 10 million bucks I’d stay home and watch F1 on TV!”

I wonder how many sponsors would like the exposure they would get from Fisichella watching F1 at home. His publicist should have told him that sponsors give drivers money for the exposure they set to get from being displayed on a F1 car. Funny guy he is !
