Renault escapes all penalty in McLaren spy saga
Renault F1 have escaped punishment in the McLaren and Renault spy scandal. The fact that there was no evidence that Renault used the data and the fact that they didn’t lie about the whole incident who earlier had tried to lie their way out of a similar situation with Ferrari in the McLaren and Ferrari spy-saga.
The FIA will issue a detailed version of things later explaining why Renault F1 wasnt penalised despite being found in breach of one of the FIA rules.
