Narain Karthikeyan says he declined Spyker Offer
Narain Karthikeyan has said that the Spyker team did infact approach him first to race for them. He however declined their offer as he did not want to repeat the mistake of 2005 when he started to race with the Jordan formula one team. He said that money was asked for and his sponsors had agreed to back him up with the required amount.
This is in sharp contrast to what his manager had said, his manager had claimed that money had played a part in the selection of Yamamoto over Karthikeyan.
