Massa gets pole in France, Hamilton second
Felipe Massa brought Ferrari back into the game by snatching the pole position in the qualifying for the French Grand Prix. Lewis Hamilton was a close second. His teammate world champion Fernando Alonso had braking problems all through the weekend and was able to secure only tenth place.
Toyota’s soon to be ex (hopefully for them) driver Ralf Schumacher qualified 11th, Jarno Trulli was 8th. Kimi Raikkonen was third. The renaults too were impressive with Giancarlo Fisichella and Heiki Kovalainen getting 5th and 6th place respectively.
