We wait for ‘Kimi Raikkonen’ that everyone fears : Ferrari

Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo defended Kimi Raikkonen in an interview, saying that the best of the Finn was still to come. He commented on how the seven time formula one champion Michael Schumacher ha called Kimi and Alonso his greatest rivals. He also seemed bullish about recovering against the ever so fast McLaren formula one team.
The iceman Kimi has not been competitive in the latter part of the 2007 season till now with him failing to secure good finishes like teammate Felipe Massa.
“We are waiting for the real Raikkonen, the one that everyone fears,” he said.
“Kimi’s always been in the fight, now we’re waiting for him to go back to being the one everyone fears.”
“Michael has said Kimi and Fernando Alonso were his toughest rivals, and Alonso has said the same about Kimi Raikkonen and Michael Schumacher,” he said.
“Clearly the two McLaren drivers are formidable,” he said.
“We got distracted for a moment and I don’t like this situation. We have to regain our competitiveness.
“We have all the means to fight back and we must work out how to recover the two or three tenths of a second that separate us from McLaren.”
