Scoop : Indian Grand Prix 2009
Its almost confirmed, if you live in India, you would have already seen news of the IOA(The Indian Olympic Association) signing a contract with the FIA for staging the Indian Grand Prix from 2009 in India. Every Indian F1 fan’s dream seems to be finally coming true.
The agreement is conditional on having a venue approved though. Suresh Kalmadi the IOA president announced this.
“We have received a letter in this regard from Bernie Ecclestone,” said Kalmadi. “The IOA will be the promoter, the first event will be held in 2009.”
