Hamilton "had never lost at Monaco" and he likely wanted to kept the slogan going, but that was in the training leagues, he is now an EMPLOYEE of McLaren and has to respect his employment obligatons. If they let him keep going the way he was he probably would have ended up in the wall, ruining his WC chances. Nothing against Lewis. Alonso was just hooked up really well while Lewis looked ragged.
