Red Bull fails to convince Webber
Mark Webber was very vocal about his displeasure with the Red Bull formula one team.
Both David Coulthard and I had a bit to say when we first drove the car.
It seems internal struggles of teams are no longer the team’s business. Anyway in our opinion driver’s should refrain from criticizing their teams in public. Its like washing dirty linen in public. It gives a psychological edge to other teams while giving you a similar setback. Red Bull has been plagued by problems in a lot of sessions. Moreover , their internal struggle with Webber’s height is also well known. Special seats were made so that the more than 6ft Webber could fit in the car.
“I would definitely like to be more comfortable. I would not have liked to race the way the seat was”
“It seems a lot better now. We’ve done a new seat and flattened things to get me into the car better.
“We’re trying to get me comfortable- the car is pretty tight in places.”
