Alonso shines on first day of Valencia test
Showing that he’s still got it , Alonso clocked the fastest time in the very first day of testing at Valencia in his new McLaren Mercedes. The testing will be done for three days. Alonso clocked a time of one minute 12.563 , with Raikkonen clocking 1:13.529 a full second behind. Moreover his car spewed oil afterwards and he had to pack up. The Renault of Nelson Picquet Jr. was third fastest.
