Red Bull launch 2007 car

Red Bull launched their 2007 car which has been designed by ‘star designer’ Adrian Newey who had earlier worked with McLaren and Williams. The Red Bull RB3 has a Renault engine and according to Adrian it has hints on McLaren in its design. the Renault engine in the Red Bull is the exact same V8 being used in the Renault F1 Team.
Fifth place is a target – obviously our ultimate aims go far beyond that said Christian Horner, Red Bull Team Supremo
This year Red Bull will be driven by Mark Webber and David Coulthard. It will be Coulthard’s third consecutive season with the Red Bull team. David Coulthard is now the oldest driver on the formula one grid after the retirement of Michael Schumacher.Mark Webber left the Williams team to join Red Bull this year. Webber said
“I believe I can have a strong year this year.
“I am refreshed, different at home apparently. I’m excited. The feeling in the team is good, its healthy.
“There’s just a lot of general excitement and everyone’s got a spring in their step.
“It’s still bloody exciting. We are going up against big manufacturers and we want to get amongst those guys. It’s not just tooling around and not being competitive. We want to be competitive this year.”

The new livery is not very different and looks dull and boring , with so many exciting F1 liveries lauched this month one would have expected something better from the designers at Red Bull.
