Toyota unveiled their new car TF107 which they will use in the 2007 F1 Season yesterday on January 12 2007. 2007 will be their sixth season in formula one , and the other five seasons have went painfully without victory for them , but i am sure they would be wanting to change statistics.

Browsing their site i also noticed that Kingfisher Airlines is now a sponsor of the Toyota Formula One Team , Kingfisher is an emerging Indian airline for those caught unawares.

Tsutomu Tomita Toyota F1 Boss said that their aim was to secure a victory this season and that he expected that the toyota will be able to match Ferrari, McLaren and Renault as far as pace goes.

John who is the president of Toyota F1 team added

“Looking at race pace and qualifying pace, we were closing the gap on Renault towards the end of the season, but Ferrari were still in front.

“Although the results didn’t show it, I think we are now capable of running with the top teams in terms of speed.”
